SHP Market & Environment Conference
SHP Market&Environment Conference is an annual event, that has been offered by CERPCH since 2005, the aims the discussion of the main aspects regarding the Small Hydro Power Plants, approaching from legal and institutional aspects, applicable technology and environment to economical analyses. The event counts with the main professionals of the sector, and representatives of the governmental sector, ONGs and private sector.
In their previous editions the event gathered more than 300 agents of the sector, in an atmosphere of rich network regarding information and businesses opportunities. A public mainly composed of investors, technicians, agents of the market, providers of solutions and technologies used the atmosphere to prospect opportunities and to develop contacts.

X ELPAH
The 10th Latin America and the Caribbean Meeting about Small Water Potentials was held in the city of Poços de Caldas between May 4 - 8, 2003. Its goal was to join researchers and professionals for the presentation and dissemination of their work, researches, projects to develop technological and engineering innovations within the area of small water potentials. Also, they could talk about issues regarding legislation and the environment, promoting a better integration between Universities, industries, governmental and non-governmental institutions.
SIGMAH
The Symposium of Management and Monitoring of Hydro Power Plants was accomplished in April of 2006 with the objective of discussing the market and technological aspects of monitoring in real time, and of presenting the importance of these procedures for the Small Hydro Power Plants.
The initiative developed from the market need of creating a forum to allow the information exchange on the concepts and emerging practices in the monitoring segment. During the event the implantation of the technologies remote monitoring was discussed in the Program of Incentive of Alternative Energy Sources (PROINFA).
The event was accomplished in partnership with the Ministry of Minas and Energy (MME).
SEGUS
Seminar of the Use and Management of Water, event that it is in its sixth edition, are accomplished by the Hydric Engineering Course of Unifei, under the auspices of CERPCH. The event has as purpose to discuss the use of the natural resource of the water in order to develop politics and technologies that will allow the rational use of this reserve that is getting more and more scarce resulting, therefore, in the optimum management and sustainable development of the population.
Serving as a link between the civil society and the specialized academic community in hydric resources, the event tries to approach pertinent subjects to the effective situation in the country in matters of the planning, use and preservation of the environmental resources.
